NJWIN - NJStar CJK Viewer is a shareware plug-in for Windows that makes it possible to view and print text written in the Chinese, Korean, and Japanese languages in any Windows application without the need to install any language extension. This handy utility is quite simple to use, and only requires very basic Windows skills. We can easily browse through CJK Web sites, read e-mail messages, and view all types of documents available in these languages. The program installs itself as a small tool bar at the top of our desktop. From there, we can open/chose the application, select the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK) codes, or Ansi code, view the help guide, customize options, and access directly to Chinese WP, and Japanese WP (if we have them installed). CJK Viewer runs under the English (and Western versions) of the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows Vista, XP, 2003, 2000, ME, NT, 98, and 95. We can evaluate the free fully featured trial version for a whole month. There are other related programs called NJStar Communicator, which also allows us to input CJK characters, Chinese WP, and Japanese WP. |
